Empowering Potential Program
Our Empowering Potential Program is the support arm for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert, providing our currently enrolled Littles with the tools and resources needed to stay on track toward on-time high school graduation, college readiness. The Empowering Potential Program includes campus visits, admissions and financial aid support, career exploration, assistance in completing college applications, FAFSA, and scholarship opportunities. For those Littles who aren't college bound, the Empowering Potential Program provides information on military options, and programs such as Job Corps, AmeriCorps and Peace Corps as well as trade schools for certification courses.
