Qualified high school students serve as mentors to an elementary school Little. In this one-to-one mentoring program, Littles and Bigs meet once a week at one of the Boys & Girls Clubs we partner with in the Coachella Valley. Current participating sites-based programs include the Boys & Girls Clubs in La Quinta. This program is facilitated by a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff and has a curriculum designed specifically for this peer-to-peer age group. Topics include academic achievement, anti-bullying, self-esteem and relationship building blocks.
